"All in good time. Just bear with me for a moment, Grizblack. Everyone open your field notebooks and follow along as I read the briefing notes. 'The landscape of Hayden Valley, a 25-square-mile area located in the central portion of Yellowstone National Park, contains a unique combination of habitats. The area's diverse wildlife includes both predators and prey.'"

Barry Grizblack:
"Inspector, we are wildlife specialists, tell us something we don't know!"

GLOSSARY:
habitats- the environment in which life forms live and grow
predator- an animal that hunts, kills, and eats other animals in order to survive
prey- an animal that is hunted or killed by another animal for food
