Electronic Field Trip Basics

The Windows into Wonderland electronic field trips are designed for students in grades 5-8, although younger and older students will also benefit from them. All classes and individuals, regardless of grade or age, may register free of charge. More recent electronic field trips offer audio and video opportunities. If your computer has difficulties with these options, select the more basic version.

If this is your first Windows into Wonderland experience, visit the Park Orientation web pages. Then go to the home page and click on the link that corresponds with the electronic field trip you wish to view.

When an electronic field trip premieres, students should view the field trip (approximately 50 minutes) and ask questions by clicking the Ask an Expert link. This message board is activated on the first day of the field trip, and remains open for the following two days.

Teachers are encouraged to use the online information For Teachers to prepare students and reinforce the field trip experience. Related web sites links are also provided for further educational opportunities.
