How to attend and eTrip
The Windows into Wonderland electronic field trips (eTrips) are designed for students in grades 5-8, although younger and older students will also benefit from them. All classes and individuals are encouraged to register free of charge.

The eTrips are easy to attend. If this is your first visit to this website, check out Park Orientation. Then proceed to the Home Page and click on the link that corresponds with the eTrip you wish to view. All eTrips can be accessed from the Home Page.

More recent eTrips offer audio and video components. If your computer has difficulties with these options, select the more basic version. The low bandwidth version can be viewed with a 28K or 56K connection. This version has fewer images, video clips, and graphics, and Flash is not necessary. The high bandwidth version can be viewed by computers with a broadband connection (cable, modem, DSL, or higher). Flash 5 or higher is required.

When an eTrip premieres, view it (approximately 50 minutes) and ask questions through the “Ask an Expert” link. This message board is activated on the first day of the eTrip and remains open for the following two days.

Teachers are encouraged to use the “For Teachers” link to access web links and lesson plans aligned with National Education Standards to prepare students and reinforce the eTrip experience.

We value your feedback and invite you to share your comments through the “Contact Us” link.
