Where the Bison Roam

Act 1,  Scene 4,  Page 46 of 47

Waterfowl will still migrate vast distances for the open water and plentiful food that they find year-round in the Yellowstone region. Competition for limited ice-free space will continue and ravens will persist in braving great heat from hot springs for a tiny morsel of fallen meat.

The dangers from the hydrothermal features will remain—fragile crust, scalding water, and dangerous gases. The microorganisms will continue to thrive in conditions that stagger the imagination.

The Yellowstone story goes on!

Yes, yes, I see that. It’s been quite informative hearing about Rosie’s adventures. I always thought the hydrothermal areas were just pretty places to see.
